Right after that the lesson started and Reid made sure to pay full attention to what the Professor was saying. It wouldn't do to not listen to the introduction of what was sure to be a very interesting, if somewhat difficult-because of the whole Runes thing- lesson.
Breathe, breathe - it will be fine. Rachel grinned as Reid sat down and then turned back to Professor Lupa, intent on comprehending the Runes things right from the beginning.
And there was Shackleton... Wait, what? Lost her wand? Rachel raised her eyebrows, slightly disbelieving. It was very unlike teachers to lose their wand. . . It was something teachers would scold students if they had done it. Weird...
Eh, well. She'll probably find it later under her pillow or something. All Rachel should be currently interested in was "how Arithmancy and Ancient Runes are connected - how both can reveal a great deal about events to come, attributes of those people around you, and most importantly one's true inner self" - as Professor Shackleton stated so well.
