Being in Slytherin is knowing the fact that you have the guts to do whatever needs to be done. It is the fact that you don't have to be evil, you can surprise everyone by ending up as the best witch or wizard ever.

It's knowing that no matter what people will always wonder how you became what you are. It's knowing that you have the respect of the other houses. It's knowing that you are cunning enough to get accepted. It's knowing that people will always expect something from you, but you can always surprise them bye doing something completely different.
