Ferris listened to the conclusion of the story, eyes widening as Vianna's soothing voice revealed the villain. He sat with his jaw dropped as Vianna finished the story, exposing that the principal was the villain all along, a very surprising conclusion. As she turned to ask if he thought the villain would be the principal, his jaw was still dropped, "Uh...No," he said, letting out a small breathy chuckle. True, childlike disbelief was on his face, as though he was a little boy being read this story.
