Granddaddy Ravenclaw | | Jermione Granger As he was walking down the stairs, he heard the glass shatter. Wincing, he continued walking. She'd definitely crossed over into rage, which didn't surprise him. But this was getting harder. She was pushing and he didn't know if he'd be strong enough to stick around. He shook that thought from his head... he loved her and he was going to get her through this. They were going to get through this. Right?
Once he got downstairs, it was just a few simple charms to clean his clothes and change the color of his shirt. It was like a whole new outfit! Settling into a chair, he made a mental note to head out and grab some changes of clothes before heading back to Dora's.
And he heard her clomping down the stairs. Briefly rubbing his eyes before she got to him, he stood again. He smiled weakly at her... in spite of it all, she looked great.
"You look great," he said softly as she came down. He could tell she was still angry. Angry at him or at herself or at the situation, he couldn't tell. Not that it mattered. He tried to think of what would have made him feel better... but all he could recall was that insufferable desire to be alone and brood. And look at what that had done to him. No. If he had to camp outside her house and fend off hexes all night, he was sticking around.
He had to.
