She inched toward him and held her hands up in front of her to let him know she was about to touch him. Angry men typically don't like to be surprised, she had learned the hard way. "You must understand... I lost Prometheus, Edward left me when things got tough, and my former best friend is now a murderous raving lunatic. Excuse me if this feels a tab personal to me. Forgive me for not wanting you anymore involved than you already are." she said quietly and evenly. She reached over and closed his shirt with her hand and looked into his eyes.
