Granddaddy Ravenclaw | | Jermione Granger As Silas slept on, but Dora was up and gone, nightmares invaded his dreams. Standing in the middle of a field, Silas watched as Lizzie approached out of a forest. Silas was the age he was now but Lizzie hadn't aged a day. She walked out of the forest, blonde hair floating behind her as if a breeze blew only for her. Silas reached for her, but she wouldn't touch him. "Take care of her, Silas," she said, blue eyes imploring. "Take care of her like you couldn't for me." Silas stomach turned in knots at those words. But before he could speak, a cackle, not unlike his mothers, echoed throughout the woods as a curl of black smoke wrapped itself like a snake around Lizzie's waist. As it pulled her away, she screamed, her features changing to those of Dora's.
Silas tossed uncomfortable on the couch, beads of sweat on his forehead as the dream progressed. He was starting to wake, but still in that space between dreaming and waking where you're never quite sure what's real.
