Very well, then," he said, wondering what it would be like to share a bed again. "But I warn you," he said, with small smirk, "I sometimes kick in my sleep." It really wasn't anything funny; Silas had nightmares sometimes, and would thrash about. Maybe he'd see if Dora had the ingredients in her home for a dreamless sleep potion.
Silas accepted his tea from Dora and took a small sip, burning his tongue. Opting just to hold it for a while, he responded. "Honestly, Dora, I don't think there's been a normal day with the two of us since we met." It was true. Between the hexes and his mothers portrait and the random panic and then today, it had certainly been a roller-coaster so far.
"A shower and fresh clothes would be wonderful, but can wait," he said, appreciatively. He didn't want to let her out of his sight, at least not yet. Placing the teacup down on the counter, Silas took Dora's hand as she walked toward him. With a quick squeeze, he allowed himself to be led to the living room, floating teacups behind them.
Setting himself down on the couch, he pulled Dora into a full-body hug. The fire that she had started to destroy the picture was still roaring. If it hadn't been immediately following what could have been their end, it would have been the perfect romantic evening.
