I think you'll be very interested in the subject. King Midas learned fairly quickly that his wish was not as wonderful as it seemed. His story teaches a lesson to everyone to think before you speak, lest you bear the consequences."
She paused and then chuckled at the slight rambling. "As far as turning things to stone, there is also the Greek figure Medusa who turned people into stones if they looked directly upon her. Both of these figures can be found in our books dealing with mythology. They're found on the second floor, first set of bookshelves."
