Well then.

She would be lucky if she still had her hearing by the end of the class. Melanie eyed the man in front of the class room with the utmost disdain, as she witnessed his behavior through out the past minutes of class. The guy sure knew how to make first impressions anyway. He'd successfully scared the living daylights out of over half the astronomy class.

She wasn't afraid though, not really anyway. At least with this guy she knew she'd probably get yelled at some time or another, unlike the other people that had scared her in the past (and...still in the present in some cases). He was predictable. She already knew it was coming some time or another, so why fear it?

It wasn't like she was about to stand up to him though, for that was simply a death wish. Melanie had already come to the conclusion that she was much to young to die. She'd just try not to get on his bad side.

So, following his SHOUTED instructions Melanie walked promptly up to the window, peering out over some of the younger students head's, craning her neck to see over the taller pupil's shoulders and ignoring the shovers of the group. The third year wasn't sure what she was expecting to see, but for some reason she felt disappointed as she saw the same old Hogwarts grounds and the same old sky, and the saaaame old Herbology Greenhouses. Which, of course, she loved.

Why were they having Herbology during daytime anyway? It was an astronomy lesson, was it not?

Despite her confusion, she answered the question, raising her hand. "My eyes see the same thing as everyone else's are seeing. It's the Hogwarts grounds and the sky separated by a horizon line with birds, and insects and people flying and crawling and walking around." she replied trying to be descriptive. Is there supposed to be something else?" she asked, squinting a little to see better. No blimps, no giant comets blazing up the ground, no world record breaking, mind-blowing AMAZING things.

So, why, Why, OH WHY, were they looking out the window?
