Arianna smiled at Kay as she joined her and Maire " Nice to meet you" she said " afraid of working with Slytherins? We're not that bad I think... though I think I might accidentally pop someone's eye out.." she said with a giggle while she admired the stone feather on the floor " I think I'll give it a try, I have a better idea of what we're supposed to do now.." and she closed her eyes in concentration, holding her wand firmly. Stone, stone, stone, think stone. Stone stone stone she then opened her eyes determined and jabbed her wand at her own feather, just the way the professor had taught them and said " Doro!" no, that's wrong, it's not like that " Duro!" she repeated making the movement again.

The feather looked the same, she knelt to the ground next to it and touched it with her wand, it was hard, not exactly like stone, but hard anyway.

"Well this is a start!" she said shrugging her shoulders and looking at Kay " Your turn now!" and then she turned to another girl Kita, that Marie had just introduced to them, she waved at her " Hi Kita!" she looked around, all girls, yeah, female power! And she punched the air with a laugh.
