Jack entered the Common Room for the first time this term. As always, it felt like coming home. He found a comfortable chair in front of the fire and enjoyed doing nothing. Knowing Hogwarts, it may be the last time this term where he had the luxury of doing nothing. Soon, he would be up to his eyeballs in homework, studying and, hopefully, Quidditch.
Ah... the Common Room.
Livvy walked into the Common Room, her face rather grave for a girl like her. All the events that had happened just moments before she stepped into this room, were still rushing through her head. She didn't know whether she should be glad that things were okay with her and Rachel... or cry because the girl had left before Livvy could say any more. Clearly she wanted to be alone. Livvy would just have to give her time.
But she still couldn't help but sigh. She didn't want to give it any more time. She wanted things to go back to the way they were. But Livvy knew that this would never be able to become reality. Everything took time. She stalked to one of the couches near the fire and slumped down.
Noticing one of the Ravenclaw prefects and one of her former Quidditch team mates. Attempting a small smile, Livvy acknowledged the boy's presence.
"Hullo Jack..." she said, meekly.
