"I wouldn't really call you a 'geek'" he said. "Well..." he paused "Only because I did that somewhat, too." he said conspiratorially. "Defense against the Dark Arts does sound fun. That, Charms and Potions are the things I'm looking forward to the most."

"Oh, by the way, this is is
Lannes" Tavelon said, indicating the boy who was sitting on his other side. "Lannes, this is Gabby".
