Once again, the 4th year's smile faltered as the girl seemed almost... well, angry didn't seem to be the right word, but it was the first word that came to the teenager's mind. Still, she regained her composure and said, as she gestured to the empty spot next to her "Sure, have a seat." Glancing to her neighbor, she added, "This is Lasca... and I'm Mariel. Are you new to Hogwarts?" Mariel was fairly certain that she was because she could never be so unobservant to not have noticed this girl wandering the corridors before today.

Ali nodded with approval at the two girls. They seemed to be of the right sort. Maybe. That would have to be found out. She sat down on her seat in a very unprincess like way. *Plomp* "Yes" she said proudly, not even saying thank you to the girl. But at least she nodded her head at her. Even that must send any person into a state of bliss. But she still had yet ot answer her question.

"I am new here, unfortunately" she said. Then, realizing she hadn't explained and would probably leave a worse impression if she left it like that, said "I wish I was here a few years ago...." She now scowled "When there was an only girls school..." She stuck her tiny chin back up "The boys don't deserve to be here, I'm sure they'll only cause trouble."

For the first time, Ali showed a sign of her true feelings. "Oh whhhyyy do I ALWAYS have to deal with BOYS!" At least, she wasn't yelling the whole sentence. Then, noticing that she was still holding her staff and bow, she slung her bow on her other shoulder and staff seemed to grow shorter for the time being and lent against the table. Ali eyed the hairdye bottles on the staff suspiciously, making sure none of them were leaking.

She then shot a very nasty look at the snorting Ravenclaw.
