Lucille's face automatically grew sympathetic as she listened to Angel talking about her step father. She knew how she didn't like him, so she changed the subject.

That sounds brill!" she said enthusiastically.
"Well, Rayedem is....Rayedem. He was still moaning about my biker boots. I think he thinks girls should be floaty and pathetic. Where is there a rule that says you cant wear a girly dress with worn out biker boot? Where?!" she breathed evenly, and chuckled, thinking about her childhood friend.
