Alexander, ever the diplomat, took it upon himself to greet the girl. Jesse was just too... unpredictable, and Nik still seemed tired. "Its nice to meet you. I'm Alexander, that's Nik, and this is Jesse. Bundi, Bundi, Chimaera." The girl relaxed a trifle, and Alexander smiled a tiny grin at her. They spent the rest of dinner chatting, not quite friends, but more friendly. Jesse was her usual wacky self, and Nik offered a witty comment occasionally as well.
After dinner, everyone retired to their Common Rooms. Alexander couldn't be sure of what the others did, but Alexander spent his time doing homework and pre-reading for the next day's classes. He went to bed, a bit tired, but curious about the next day's activities.
Alexander rose bright and early the next morning, all too ready for the day to start. Nik snored lightly, and Alexander wondered whether he should wake him. He still seemed a bit peaked from the day before, but he would kick himself if he was late for class. Alexander quickly rigged a spelled bucket of water over Nik's head, charmed to last about an hour. That would give Nik just enough time to get to class if he didn't wake in time. Alexander hurried off to breakfast.
