That's when she, most unwillingly, took her eyes away from Jake, and stood straight. Bizarre. That was the word for the scene that was now playing in front her eyes. There was a terrified boy in front of a much too menacing Hufflepuff. Hufflepuff! Why were Hufflepuffs so mean now?

She didn't recognize the Huffie one, he probably never tried out for Quidditch the past two years, and by the looks of the terrified one, he must be a first year. Oh, what a great impression Huffies are making on the poor boy. "Er, sorry about bursting in" or maybe she arrived on time? "I'm Kaika, Kaika Lockhart...Hufflepuff Quidditch Captain" she said, smiling to the terrified boy. "You are...?" she asked, deciding not to ask if there was anything wrong or not.

Willie was holding onto the boy's shoulder again, lulling him into God knows what. He turned his head around, again like those in the horror movies such as... Nothing comes to mind, but a horror movie nonetheless. His eyes widened to the shape of eggrolls and maybe even an eggplant. Something relating to eggs, for sure. He stared, waiting for her to speak and she did in fact. Good thing he didn't open his mouth, or he'd be... something.

"Ye should be!" Willie scowled at her, raising his fist in the air in dominance. This was his compartment! HIS! And whoever barged shall have his ear eaten by himself! YES EATEN! Why does this boy has a strange taste for ears, I do not know. I don't think I would ever want to know, really. He watched the girl, turned back to Ti, looked at the girl again and gave her a smile that was dripping in sweetness and kindness. His expression instantly changed!

He was a feral.But beneath that smile, he was a feral.

FEAAAAAAR HIM!!!!!!

She was NOT going to waste time explaining something that didn't need to be explained. She'd apologized, but that wasn't enough for the menacing kid, was it? Because she'd interrupted something, didn't she? Oooooh. Interesting. Or...not so much, since the kid seemed to have some issues she didn't intend knowing about.

A smile?

What on earth?! Her eyes turned to Jake and to the terrified first year. But mostly to Jake, what kind of people did he hang out with? This Crocker boy was amongst his friends circle? Oh, she should have a talk with her sweet little Huffie boy for sure.

Eth Ti and Willie? What a long name! Kaika stood waiting for the terrified first year to pronounce his name, and then the Huffie said something else. "Oh, Willie...there's another Crocker in Hufflepuff, right?" she asked, and failed *intentionally* on answering the boy's question.

As soon as Jake heard his name, he turned to the owner of the voice and smiled, hugging her back. "Kaika!" he grinned, stepping back as she did. It seemed that Kaika was the kind of pulled into the conversation with Willie and Strange-name... So Jake just stepped back and waited, occasionally making eye contact with Kaika when she looked at him.

Awww. Jake was all cute standing there, silently. Like her brother should be. It was more than clear that Jake was more pleasant than the Willie boy, considering her face changed, and she smiled when she looked at Jake. "I hope you practiced over the summer" she nodded, referring to Quidditch.

"Are you staying in this compartment?" she wasn't, she was only passing by, but the thought of Jake staying there with Willie, unless the latter was his friend, just mortified her. The first year should probably move too. Though, she had a feeling he'd be more than delighted to do so.

Yeah, best to leave that subject, though Kaika never seemed to see a bad side in Jake, the kid didn't really want to test it.

Glancing round at the other two in the compartment, Jake made a split second decision. He was unsafe from Crocker. RAWRR! Holding his notebook tighter, Jake looked up at Kaika. "I kinda... fell in here," he explained. "I thought..." a quick glance around at the boy he thought was his friend, and Jake bit on his lip and shook his head. "No, not staying here."
