As they arrived at his compartment he dropped her arm, and opened the door for her.

He crossed the compartment after carefully closing the door (Feuer could be just as mischievous as Kris sometimes) and opened the door on Feuer's cage.
The phoenix's exquisite red and orange feathers shimmered in the light as he jumped onto Kris's exposed arm. He cocked his head to the side, as if sizing Drina up. After a good look, he again ducked his regal head under his wing, content upon his masters arm.
Kris beamed with pride at his companion, and stroked his back.

Alex stood in the doorway, closing her eyes and bracing herself for whatever weird creature might be in the compartment.. You never knew with boys.. They could think the ugliest and creepiest things were just like awesome.. Alex shivered and opened her eyes..
"Ohhhhh..." There before her, sat at Phoenix.. "Kris..." She breathed out as she stood there in awe of the magnificent bird. She had never seen one before, only heard of them of course. Who didn't remember the stories about Dumbledore's famous Phoenix Fawks?
"Ohh Kris he is beautiful.." She said softly, almost reverently as she smiled at it. "Would he let me touch him.." She asked in an awed whisper.. not wanting this gorgeous creature to get mad at her for daring to touch it.
After peering into full compartments, Sel have finally found one that is not crowded. From outside the glass door, she could see that there were already a guy and a girl inside, marveling at a beautiful phoenix. She slided the door open gently and walked in, carrying her bag and Arielle the grey kitten's basket.
"Excuse me, would you two mind if I sit here? Every compartment I've seen is full." The girl said in a somewhat apologetic manner.
But once her eyes fell upon the guy, she felt her cheeks suddenly flame. It was Kris! The very person she met in Florean Fortescue's... Oh no - the longer she stays around someone who makes her
too happy and excited (and is not one of her superpower-armed friends), the bigger trouble will be. What should she do? Back out and continue searching? Or should she sit here and test her self-control? As she waited for response from the other occupants, her mind keep on battling at an inhuman speed.
