Mina slowly worked her way toward the front of the train. It had been a long morning as is and she was looking forward to finding a compartment. The morning had started with her parents waking her early to see her oldest sister off to Uni. After breakfast they soon left her to her own while they tended to her other siblings. After a very quick farewell, she was left to cart her luggage through the barrier and store it.
Finally, coming a cross an empty once, she entered and settled in a seat beside the window. Setting her bag beside her, she pulled out her little beaded bag to pull some coins out. She was sure after some time she would be hungry again and wanted to be prepared for the tolley. Sliding the little bag back in to it's place, she pulled one of her favorite books out along with her new copy of The Art of Potion Making.
Looking out the window at the passing students, Mina smiled and finally felt at home. She had a feeling that things were going to be looking up for her this year. With a happy sigh, she opened her textbook and started reading up on her upcoming classes. |
