She wanted to have a better look at who it was, seeing as she could only make out the outline of the girl but was saved the awkwardness of staring back when the girl entered and spoke.

"Im sorry, do I know you from somewhere? Friend of a friend maybe?" she asked looking the girl over while trying to place where exactly they had met.

It had actually just been more something of a rhetorical question anyway since Nancy had already seated herself into the nearest seat before the girl had even had time to offer it to her. Why would the girl decline anyway? There was enough room in the compartment so it was only natural for the girl to tell her that she didn't mind her sitting with her.
"Great, thanks." Nancy said from where she was already sitting with a small smile-like grimace for the girl. This whole Aparecium business was really getting on her nerves.

Somehow Nancy felt the girl's eyes on her just like she had just been gazing at her a moment before, the same curiosity in her eyes. So it probably was not just a coincidence that she had looked familiar. But how and where had they met? Somehow, call it female intuition maybe, Nancy had the feeling that they had not exactly befriended at their first encounter so while crossing her legs she answered, "I...am not sure to be honest. You do look familiar too, though." Racking her brain for some indicator that would help her put her finger on something related to the girl Nancy bit her lower lip.

Then, just out of the middle of nowhere an image flashed across her inner eye, a place which looked quite a lot like the Courtyard or something out in the Hogwarts Grounds. Plus there was somebody with them. A boy. But who was it?
