Hmmm writing a book doesn't really compare with inventing the television, the telephone or the steam engine, or discovering penecillian, or writing some of the most famous songs/poems in the world. To name a few.

Sorry but as a proud Scot thats just my view. Don't get me wrong her writing is phenomenal its just that Scottish people are so awesome that they've done much better things.
