Quickly going up on her tiptoes, she lightly kissed him before whispering, "I'm glad you're okay." She paused for a second, as the rest of what he'd said settled into her mind, then gazed at him seriously. "I wasn't trying to pick on you. And I'm sorry I'm hyper-protective of Dylan. It's not like I've done this before," she said, still worried that his mood was going to ruin their time here. It was already worrying her beyond belief, like it always did.
But then the attention had gone to Lima, and she felt when he had set the camping gear down and started to let her pull him over to her friend. She knew he was uncomfortable with everyone. It wasn't like she knew all the people who were here, or were most likely going to be, but this was one of the first times they'd gotten to do anything since Dylan's birth. Other than her going to his Quidditch matches. As they got closer to the former Huffie, she tried to work up a smile. Especially at the low greeting, but as she heard Robert's muttered response, her expression faltered. "We're good," she replied. "A little bit of a disagreement, or misunderstanding, I guess, but it'll be fine." She couldn't help but give some explanation, since she knew Lima could see through any act she could give. But a tiny laugh escaped her as Robert cut to the chase, and bluntly asked about where they could set up their tent and everything. She needed to get him out of this mood, or it was going to drive her crazy. Quote:

Where we are right now?" She didn't think he could handle much more of things. Poor guy wasn't built like Maddox she supposed. "You want some water or something?" she added concerned. "And how is Dylan." What a cute name for a baby girl. Robert glanced at Liz as she spoke to Lima and then at Lima. Glancing around he spotted a place where no one seemed to have set up around and then back down at the spot they were at. Liz would probably want to stay close to her friend. "Alright." Turning around he made his way to get the supplies shaking his head at Lima's offer of water, "No, I'm fine thanks," he said over his shoulder. Pulling his backpack higher up on his shoulder he picked up everything once more and carried them over to start figuring out how to put it together. Kneeling down he went to work every so often glancing up at Liz. He still hadn't told her...he needed to.... Running his hand through his hair he looked over everything. He hadn't a clue where to start...this is what he got for having a father who didn't care enough to do things like this.
"Liz...a little help here?" He didn't really feel like fighting with his magic..especially with this crowd.
