Earlier today Rupert Grint
kicked off the Richard Burns Memorial Rally at the
RAF Marham base in Norfolk, England, with the wave of a flag. As well as supporting fundraising for a variety of charities (
The Royal Airforce Association,
The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund,
The Bomber Command Fund and the
Richard Burns Foundation), Rupert is there to watch his brother, James, who is participating in the rally in the tarmac stages in a Mitsubishi Evo. Rupert had the following to say;
Quote:
“It's quite a new thing for him. He is just getting started, but he has got a natural ability.”
“I wouldn't have a go. The cars go really fast so it's not something I am brave enough to do.
“I trust his ability though. So far he hasn't had any accidents.”
UPDATE: The first photo of Rupert at the rally can be seen
