Entering the Great Hall, Iliana took a deep breath. She had to be brave. Had to keep her bearing for the kids. Looking at the empty chairs at the staff table, she promised herself she wouldn't cry.
She walked forward with a sad smile on her face and sat down next to Marcus. "Thanks for saving me a seat," she said, acknowledging the other professors with a nod.
Marcus watched as Iliana made her way into the Great Hall and he couldn't help but notice that she looked exactly the same as he felt. "No problems" he replied when she reached the table. He picked a pitcher of water and poured her a glass. "Not exactly the end of term celebration we were all looking forward to." His eyes traveled down the table where the absence of Less and Bontecou was very prominent.

Her school robes fluttered in her wake, as she got closer to Professor Morgan. She stopped next to Vannie, and waited for her turn, smiling sweetly up to her Professor Morgan.
His attention was diverted to two Hufflepuffs approaching the table. Marcus gave the girls a smile but as it was obvious they were both here to see Iliana, he turned his attention back to the students sitting at their tables and his eyes sought a certain Hufflepuff that he wanted to see before the feast was over.
