Another year at Hogwarts come and gone. Dominic was really in mixed reviews over this year; his sixth year. Sure he had helped out his house in helping them to earn the Quidditch Cup for the first time in like three years. Sure he earned a handful of points, but he had not really applied himself. Not like last term. Granted last term he was also studious in his OWL studies, but that was no excuse. Maybe the eleven OWLs was some reasoning for his slight slacking this term, but even that was a lame excuse.
And now, this time next year, it would be his turn to say goodbye to Hogwarts. Not that the realization dawned on him; at least it didn't consciously, but it was the truth. And even though the sixteen year old knew he should find out if Willow passed her Apparition test or spend some time with those graduating who a small part of him would miss (i.e. Clifford, Anna, Lyra, Vanessa), he didn't feel it in him.
He didn't even feel it in him to eat. So instead of eating or eavesdropping on other conversations, Dominic rose from his spot on the bench and walked aimlessly away from the Hufflepuff. No true destination point in mind, but undoubtedly it was to speak with a certain role model of his up at the Dias.
