Stefan knew that she had given up. He understood that. And he probably shouldn't have done what he did but he just couldn't fight it anymore. He had never felt like this for anyone. He had gone through too much pain losing his parents and that had changed him drastically. He didn't even want to being to think about what it would do to him if he went through something like that again. And thats what it felt like. Like a piece of him had been ripped away. Merlin!
He looked down at her and knew that she was upset. "Well I give up too! I can't fight it, I can't just walk away" He raised his voice slightly but then lowered it knowing that it would only upset her more. "And I know you can't either" He couldn't help but add that last part. He knew that she wanted him just as much as he wanted her and he was giving in. |
