I Feel Like A Mouse When You’re Gone…
26. Quill (Inspired by Kettle’s On by The Feeling. I have no clue who the girl in the video is.)

Hannah had been at Susan’s for three days. Without her, the flat felt empty and so did Neville. The argument had been so horrible, he didn’t understand why it had happened, why she had been so angry. He just needed her to come home.

Neville picked up his quill.

Dear Hannah,

Please come home. I’m not really sure what I did, but I’m sorry.

The kettle’s always on, we could have a cup of tea and talk about it.

He tied the letter to a yellow rose and sent it to her, hoping that she would forgive him.
