| Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict Oh Merlin, not more screeching, Elizabeth had thought as the merpeople spoke again, and then grindylows had attacked, causing mass chaos. Practically translucent, she was so pale from the pain rocketing through her head, she managed to notice Professor Vindictus' arrival as she pressed against one of the walls, momentarily having given up casting spells. It wasn't like they seemed to be working. But then he'd ordered everyone to summon brooms to get out of the water, and she bit her lip as people did, then started getting batted at by the merpeople like flies. With their tridents as flyswatters. "Don't you know merpeople with tridents is so cliche?," she muttered in irritation.
And then, as grindylows were flying into the air to attack people, she sighed. Professor Vindictus wanted everyone up, fine. But she wasn't getting on a school broom. For all she knew, she'd end up with the broom that had tripped her in the locker room. "Accio broom!," she yelled, thinking of her own broom, which was upstairs in the common room. And as it came toward her, she looked at the merpeople and grindylows. Distraction, she thought as she climbed on her broom and it flew upward a little. Okay, please, Plymouth, don't kill me. Or start shrieking or anything, she internally pleaded, before waving her wand in a semi-complicated movement. "Chrysaetos conjurus." As the eagle conjured by her brother's spell appeared, she cringed a little in guilt, both for the fact it was her house symbol and the fact her brother probably had never thought it would be used as a distraction. Sending it flying low over the water to hopefully sidetrack the evil little creatures, she swung her broom to one side to avoid Torin flying past with a crying girl. Now what?, she thought, keeping her wand ready even though it was taking most her strength to push back the pain in her head and stay on the broom. If anything got close to her, she was hexing it.
