Getting rid of it with a flick of his wand he replaced the wand back in his inside jacket pocket."Yeah I can she has left a bit" he said glancing at the desk to see if there were any more patches.
"Oh I just gave some advice to someone who is afraid her muggle neighbour has noticed her pet augerey is a little out of the ordinary. If it gets serious then someone can go and try and sort it out" said Richard offhandedly as he stood up.
He noticed Frida getting rid of a smudge,"That soot gets everywhere" he said nodding.
'An augerey...' "Hmm...right." Frida said calmly and sat in the chair behind her desk and began to fill out and file some more papers that had appeared in the trays on the counter in front of her.
"Yes, it does get everywhere." She continued to say in a quieter voice as her thoughts trailed off as the paperwork slowly went down.
"My owls like to fight and topple down the chimney...so I'm used to a bit of soot."
Looking over around the office clearly, Frida noticed the number of empty desks inside. Had it always been this bare? How depressing.
"If you'd like, you may rearrange the office to your liking...just as long as things are kept in good order." She dropped a form in the 'out' tray, which quickly vanished.
"And as for your desk space, you may put whatever personal photos you want on the desktop, I'm not that picky when it comes to family...just make sure that nothing can be used to your disadvantage. We still need to have a bit of caution even if we do not work in the Minister's office."
Frida reached into the top drawer of her desk and took out a frame which held a photograph of Frida and another worker at the Ministry.
