William didn't even notice Paris there in the mayhem that had occurred. Once the merman was out of commission he moved over to where she now stood, standing right beside her to give her support and to fight along with her. He certainly didn't want to be alone, not when there were grindylows and other weird things around.
"I got your back." he muttered to her as he glanced in her direction before looking back to the water and pointing his wand. "Stupefy!" he said, just in case another grindylow was around.
She heard the water moving around her and she turned to see William wading over to her.
"William," she squeaked. He could get hurt, why was he there?! She was suddenly scared for him.
She grabbed his hand and pulled him close to her and sort of behind her.
"You stay right there." she told him.
"Protect the headmaster's office," she whispered to him. She didn't want him to think she was trying to baby him.
She was between him and anything that would be stupid enough to attack him.
"Relashio," this grindylows were little devils. She wished her little brothers were there, they would make quick work of the little beasts.
