She was getting very angry now. Stefan could see that. She was losing it and he hated that he was making her that upset. He didnt answer her question but simply just looked at her. His face was still cold. But he was surprised. She was still trying to figure him out. Why couldn't she just give up. It would be sooo much easier for her, sure it would hurt him but it would be better for her. THats what he had to keep thinking about.

But then as she moved closer he felt himself leaning into her hand as she stroked his cheek. "Isabelle, I can't" He said to her quietly. "I just can't" It was true. She deserved better than him.
