She looked around. Those of her classmates who had already found partners were doing pretty much the same thing Kiri was doing - that is, standing around aimlessy, chatting idly with each other.
True, she could see that most of the pairs consisted of an older student and a younger one, which was slightly worrying, but she didn't really fancy searching for another partner, not right now, at least.
Kiri turned to the girl again, aware that she'd said something. "Hmm? Er, sorry... Yes, I'm a third year. Maybe Professor Svensson has something complicated planned. Something, you know, that only the older students can do. If so, I guess we'll have to split up and look for new partners... Let's move to the centre anyway," she added with a shrug and strolled into the middle of the room to the other pairs.
