Overall, I don't like the fact that they omit so much. They may have had excuses in the previous movies, but in my opinion, they really messed up with Half-Blood Prince.  I agree completely. It wasn't like in the other movies (like the third to use his comparison) where they cut stuff that wasn't really that important or detrimental to the plot if it was left out. He cut out stuff that really needed to have been in there. I feel like if I hadn't just reread the book before I went to the midnight showing I would have been really lost with the way he jumps around. But there were parts that had me bursting out laughing....he did do the awkward teenage aspects very well.
