It wasn't like she didn't know he could laugh, but Robert giggling was kind of an odd sight. But then she watched as he moved in front of her and then lifted her up onto his back. Laughing again, she pretended to glare at him even though she knew he couldn't really see her. "You better not drop me." When he was in a silly mood like this, she could never be certain what he'd do. Even though it was fun. And way better than the place they'd been in not long before.
As he gripped her tighter and started running toward the house, she wrapped her arms around his shoulders carefully, hearing what sounded a bit like sound checks. They must be getting ready to perform, she thought, before her attention went back to Robert as he spoke again. "Shopping trip?," she asked as he started slowing down and she could see Lima and Reese over at the stage with River. At least they weren't late.
Robert smiled as he heard Liz giggle and laughing he nodded, "Yup, a toothbrush. I can guarantee he'll want to fly after that." He smiled and laughed as she looked up at him, "What?" Picking her up chuckled and turned his head, "Now why would I do that?" He loosened his grip slightly and she slid down but he gripped her again before she fell. Tilting his head toward hers he leaned back awkwardly and kissed her. "I'd never drop you hun. You should know that by now. Now hold on tight."
Feeling her arms tighten around him as he ran toward the house he smirked. So a minor set back and they were back to how they were actually better now that he knew what was wrong with her. As he neared the stage he knelt down and let her slide off his back before standing back up. "Yeah, you know, new clothes and stuff. The most money I've ever spent on myself is our house and my broom...why not have a little fun? We can certainly afford it." And it was true they both didn't spend money and with the amount of money he was bringing in every year and hers they had made sure that if anything happened they would never want for anything. Even he wasn't delusional to think he could play Quidditch forever. He looked up as he saw the stage and Lima on it and nodded as she looked at them.
