Default TeafortheSoul's Movie Marathon Extravaganza

Introducing the freshest face to the Member of the Week Hall of Fame...
TeafortheSoul!

*Walks out on stage to a surge of cheers and clapping* Hello all, and welcome once more to the Member of the Week interviews! I have someone very special with me tod- ah, where did she go? Tegan??
*skates out wearing glisseo shoesies* HOLLA!

Hey Tegan! o.O Congrats on the interview. Are you okay to be here with us? Or are the shoes for good luck?
The shoes are like... proof of my awesomeness, I was pretty sure I needed proof so... *holds up foot* there you go.

Bahaha! As if you need shoes to prove that. So tell us about your name. Was it something original your parents came up with, or is it like Tegan and Sara?
Well... Doctor Who is one theory, I'm not sure if you KNOW about like, the OLD Doctor Who... Whos. There was a Tegan. But it's actually kind of more exciting than that, my dad was in the army and he was in Germany for some boring reason that I forget, and he overheard someone yelling TEGAN and decided he liked it. I forget why that is exciting... lets roll with the Doctor Who charrie.

Hahaha! Dr. Who vs. War story. Well do you like Tegan and Sara at least? You mind sharing the name?
You know, they aren't at all known here, the only reason I know who they are is because I like the White Stripes and they do a cover of one of their songs and I was all like MY NAME! And there was real life flailing to punctuate my excitement.

Ahh I see I see! *listens to the White Stripes* Are they your favorite band... and are they big, wherever you're at?
They aren't even CLOSE to being my favourite actually. While I can pretty much say I like anything except Hanson, my favourites are Whitesnake, Lordi, Muse, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Breaking Benjamin, Porcupine Tree, Lady Gaga, *insert all New Zealand artists here* and... *clears throat*... Michael Jackson. Also, wherever I am at happens to be New Zealand.

Dude I LOVE your taste! Very cool mix up there. And New Zealand! That was so unexpected. But now - about you. Inform us!
Inform you? Oh... man... um... I uhhhh live in New Zealand? Yeah actually that is a pretty big part of my identity, culturally I like to think I'm pretty accepting as far as people from different walks of life go and I love MOVIES so really, Middle Earth is the place to be. I worked in a cinema for more than 5 years and got to see at least a movie a week, plus I worked in a video store so I just kind of breath movies. Creative things in general actually; apart from films, New Zealand and in particular Wellington, is all about the arts. I spend a lot of time drawing and reading and writing and all of that sort of thing. *scratches nose and sucks thoughtfully on a marshmallow* Also, I'm a gaming nerd. I used to have a wicked playstation tan before I joined SS.

LOL. *tries to imagine what those tan lines would look like* Ooh a movie buff! Though I had no idea that New Zealand was home to the arts basically. Do you plan on doing something artsy with your life?
I guess I'm a typical SSer, I kind of want to write. Not just for funsies but for actuals.

That's neat. You should hook me up with some links to your work If your friends would describe you in one word, what would it be?
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm one word. One word. ONE WORD. As much as I'd like to be know as the DEFENESTRATOR, I think it would probably be something a little more low key. So... easygoing. Let's roll with that.

Lol so you're the chill one of the group!! All right! Onto the good stuff. So tell us about how you came to the almighty SnitchSeeker.
Well I actually came to nosy at the fanfics then I got into the RP and... well... I pretty much don't go anywhere else.

Yeah, I heard that you're a majorrrr RP buff. Is it your favorite part of the site?
Yes it definitely is.

Do you every venture into the Ministry RP? Or are you a school addict?
I'm Special Ops Oh. And I helped out in DA this past time between terms too.

You play everywhere! So who are your characters?
Well I joined in term 19 for the split term thing, with my current school charrie Celandine Toussaint and she's in her fourth year now. Let's see... there is an RP in the Vanishing Cabinet called Robes and I play her oldest brother Keiran in there. I've played an international Jewel Thief by the name of Raoul for a Special Ops assignment, my shop assistant charrie (who is now cheerfully homeless andresiding in my brain) goes by the name of Minty and she is NOT a house elf! And I have a new Special Ops assignment coming up with a house elf. *nods* That's all, not too many on SS.

But that's a lot of variety! I bet you've had sooo much fun... and I hear your RP charrie won a Superlative once. Is that right?
OH yes heeeheee *innocent grin* She got herself and seven other characters (including her brother... whoops) detention with Trelawney.

:O How bad!! I remember hearing about that too, and I wasn't even involved in the RP that term! Who would you rather haunt your house? Peeves vs. the Bloody Baron.
The Bloody Baron! I love Slytherins!

Does that make the Malfoys your favorite family?
Hmmmm I am intrigued by all the pureblood stuff. I guess I'd say yes that would be true. *is having detention flashbacks and giggle fits now btw*

So if you were stuck with just books or the movies, which would you pick?
Books. I can make the movies happen in my head.

Aww what an excellent way to think of it! Have you ever met anyone famous before?
Oh sure quite a few people, I worked at the cinema where the world premier for Lord of the Rings Return of the King happened. So for starters, a huge number of the cast were in and out all the time. I've met Viggo Mortensen, Orlando Bloom, Liv Tyler, Elijah Wood and Sir Ian McKellan in particular. Also, Michelle Rodriguez, Seth Green, Matthew Lillard, Burt Reynolds, Peter Jackson, Brad Bird and a bunch of New Zealand Celebrities you mostly wouldn't know by name... but Lucy Lawless (Xena), Temuera Morrison (Jango Fett) and Sam Neill.

*drools* I think I'm going to get a job at a movie theater! Lol! Okay, five quick questions. You ready?
Yessss!

Did you believe Snape was a good guy? Really?
YES I did!

Travelling by floo powder or by broomstick?
Flooooooo! I am such an instant gratification kind of person.

Which Wizarding school would you have wanted to attend?
Well I think that little sigh that those Beauxbatons girls do in the movie would totally come in handy in real life so lets go with there.

Old Dumbledore vs. New Dumbledore?
Ooooh um... New.

Okay! Last one... I heard you were a winner in the Time Riddle Chronicles storywriting competition here on SS! Congratulations on that. What chapter did you write, and what was it about?
I wrote the first one, kind of on a whim. So lucky me, I got to start the whole thing and see where other people took my efforts. I wanted to give some humanity to Tom, really he can't have been evil all along after all. I figured the perfect person to put him up against would be Myrtle.

That's fantastic!! I bet it's been really cool to watch and see your inital idea grow in different ways too! So our last Member of the Week, Waterloo, had a question for you. did you get to read it?
I did but... I forgetted what it was cos... Gemma is awesome and I was too busy squeeing about her interview. Eeeeeep!

Okay, well here was the question! 'If you could perform a patronus, what form would it take and whhhy?'
Ooooh. *thinks* Well I think it would be what I gave my RP charrie, a scorpion. Scorpions are cooooool. If you want to know the real reasons why, google a scorpion spirit totem animal and there is your answer. Google knows all.

You can find the meaning of life on Google, did you know that? But anyway - it's your turn! What would you like to ask our next MotW?
I did know that. Google is my friend. I would like to ask... *deep breath and scary stare* Which characters from Harry Potter would you like to see have an everyday conversation and what do you think they might say?

Very nice!! I can't wait to see what they answer... and who answers Anything else you would like to say before we go dear?
Yes. Timezones SUCK.

LOL. So, so, so very true. We tried a bajillion times to do this interview... it's hard when you're on opposite sides of the planet! It's 2 AM where you are! Well thank you so much for the interview. I had so much fun getting to know you!
No problemo! We'll always have this and well I guess yearbook too *Snortles* WAIT before you go!

*waits*
*headbutts you*

Owww! o.O
*beams and nuzzles*

Aww! Well that's the end to another interesting Member of the Week interview. Make sure you check back soon to get updates from another one of SnitchSeeker's finest!
