River went on to Reese's hands and left from his mother's. He rested his head on her shoulder and giggled. He was happy and happy all over again and eyed his mummy. With his Superman Hands, he waved at her despite the fact she was about 3 feet away. Right now he pictured he was really flying in the air and looking down at his mum and waving at her! She seemed tiny to him after being carried by Reese. That's right because she was the lady in the family and he had to protect her from danger--with of course his Superman Hands.
"Hungrehhh!" He pointed to his stomach and waved his arm in front of Reese's face to get her attention. "Reesshhh, I'm hungreh!" And with that he opened his mouth and sucked on her shoulder.
But he stopped after seeeeing Jake. JAKE. To River, he seemed like a pretty nice guy... but he was scared. You could always see it in his eyes. Even if he got used to seeing him, he was always always scared of the looks. He put his arms around Reese's neck and watched him. "Hewwo!"
So basically to River, Jake was a friend, but a friend he was a bit scared of.
