And startle her she did. Perhaps that wasn't the very best of her ideas after all, by the looks of it. Definitely not. "Oops?" Katie chirped, watching intentively as Samantha got up from the floor. The young Hufflepuff was hesitant but waited cautiously, sure Mount St. Sammy was about to erupt. Her childish mind couldn't help from play with the thought, the explosion was reversed. Instead of lava she spilled ink, and that happened without voilently active warning that usually came with mountains. Human- better yet, witch mountains must be different. Yes, that was it.

"You could use white ink." The comment came out without thinking about what she was saying, and who she was saying it to. In her defense, Katie did think it was a good bit of advice! Would Sam see it that way? Well... "Uhuh," she nodded once, dark chocolate brown orbs following after the taller girl with the same held interest. There was a bubble on her head. It was a neat little trick, but the small one couldn't get past the Gryffindor's odd behavior; really, who charmed a bubble on their own head? And why was she making such a funny face?! "She's lost it." Kaitlynnh stated, keeping the rest of her opinion to herself: As far as anyone is concerned, we are soooo not related.

If not for the fact Sam said she felt better now, and was not preparing to eat her or anything along the lines that meant she was in deep trouble, Katie would have gladly pointed out that she looked like a loony only a moment ago. She thought better of it, though. That and Sam distracted her by bringing up that subject. She didn't need to say his name, the girl just knew. Her eyes narrowed on the wall were she had averted her gaze, "Not yet I haven't, that's next on my list." She spoke in utmost seriousness, looking back up at the older brunette. "I'm not talking to Legend." Katie added simply, settling Nova in the pocket of her outter school robes while she did.

Her attention shifted upon hearing William, a small smile returned in place of her scowling. "Hey Will!" Katie greeted in response, her smile growing at her cousins comment. As childish as it was, she stuck her tongue out. Saying cheekily, "I knew what I was doing, it's not my fault you leave ink bottles open while staring at formerly blank sheets of parchment."
