The reason was self evident? It was?? Plymouth was, without question, the most confused boy in the entire school and maybe all of Europe. Why Cela would make herself carefree to the point of comatose-ness was just not "self evident". Plymouth was much more interested in the questions that Healer Avalon was asking, but he DID side with Krazi on this one. Just heal her so that Plymouth could have a hug and the world would be right again.
