It was all about the entertainment, clearly.
"Ummmmm the best part was the poem." Celandine answered and then quickly added, "Oh and my other pets of course, Owl.... not in owlery but you know, and my Pygmy puff , whoopsiedaisy? Sorta just floats around the common room. communal pygmy puff or something." Subject change.
And hair flip.
And pose.
Daphne pouted once more at the wall and wondered if this was a good time to meditate. Perhaps a little Ommm here and there wouldn't hurt, especially if she wanted to not concentrate on what Celandine had just said. And so she did....mentally at least.
Ommmmmm.

Raiden sighed in defeat. "If... you're going to... I guess..." This felt so awfully awkward. When had everything gotten so WEIRD. "I can just pretend that it's a birthday present?" That could work. It was soon, afterall... wasn't it? "What day is today?"
Why did Daphne Hopton think he was so breakable? Raiden looked down at himself. Sure, he was skinny and stuff, but... It wasn't like getting hit with one bludger would break him into little pieces or something. And he could probably avoid them. He'd done well with that in tryouts at least.
"Why's it sad? I want to play..." He looked at Celandine and his face turned pink. A cheer? For him? He was only a reserve though! "You- you don't have to, really it's... not a big deal, and I might not even get to play... and I like Gryffindors just fine, I just like my own common room. There's lots of really nice Gryffindors, yes, like Daphne Hopton."
His brain was going all fuzzy again, what with all this... stuff. That was being said.
"That's a grand idea, Raiden Kururugi!" exclaimed Daphne excitedly, hooking her arm with Rainden's. "Didn't I tell you already? You really
are brimming with good ideas. Today? I honestly don't know." Puzzled, she turned her honey gaze towards Celandine, blinking repeatedly. "What
is today?" Wednesday? That didn't make sense.
Clapping his hooked arm with her free hand, Daphne shook her head. "Precisely because you want to play, Raiden Kururugi. Do you have any idea the stress you'll put me under? Every time I see a bludger I'll feel like I can already it hear it crushing your bones." It was making her queasy already. Agreeing with Celandine's equally brilliant idea, Daphne Hopton nodded energetically. "Celandine is good at things like cheering." It fit her personality perfectly! "I'll just watch. Why,
thank you Raiden but there's no need to flatter me really," giggled Daphne fluttering her lashes.
Really! Although he was completely allowed to try, though.
