"Raiden isn't all that fragile, Daffy!" Cela grinned at Daphne and squeezed her back, leaving her arm about the Gryffindor girl's shoulder.
Loud... chocolate crazed... Slytherin boy. Hmmm." There were a bunch of Slytherin boys at her party... "Cam? Oh he's harmless and huggable and he's totally nice on account of he adopted Juniper Goodwin's lemurs." Cela squeezed Daphne's shoulders and looked down at the two Slytherins on the ground.
"I missed you-- OH! I have to show you all my new presents! Daphne!!! I got some new PETS!"
Daphne laughed and waved a hand at Raiden's figure. "What are you saying? Of course he's--" Tall. "Well." He
was fragile! We swear! "Ohh," moaned Daphne shaking her head at Celandine. "You know I don't hug people." Except, she had just hugged Celandine but Celandine didn't count as people.
Not particularly. It was complicated. And the lemur talk reminded her of Plymouth and Copernicus and Dominick Denton who made her cry. Jerkface. "P-Pets?" Stuttering was not attractive. "Oh, please tell me they're not um..."
Dirty? Hairy? Loud? Slimy? Creepy Crawly?

Wriggling out from under Pietro, Raiden wobbled and got to his feet quickly and pulling the younger boy up just after. The little exchange between Cela and Daphne Hopton about hurting him and him not being fragile very nearly made him laugh. Almost. It was kind of... funny that Daphne Hopton was the one saying he was fragile when she didn't know about... well everything.
"It's fine, Daphne Hop-" Right. He was supposed to be not calling people by their full names anymore. "Er, Daphne. It's fine..."
Well, it was fine. The weird things his stomach was doing were in no way related to Pietro's tackling him. Raiden rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly; his brain had been cleared by that tackle, but it was very quickly going fuzzy again, and it was becoming a problem.
"Erm..."
It seemed like their walk to the ground floor was... delayed? Not that he particularly minded, it was just that... well the reason for his fuzzy brain was now among their group. There had to be something he could do to fix this fuzzy thing, it wasn't really fun to be around Cela and not be able to think properly.
Errr. "On second thought," commented Daphne needing to ruffle the boys hair to bring things back to normal except the height difference made it slightly awkward. "Please do continue calling me Daphne Hopton."
She needed
some normalcy in her life.
