Chapter Sixty (Part two)
Harry came out of the kitchen in the quarters, levitating a plate of sandwiches and four glasses of pumpkin juice in front of him. Hermione, Ron and Ginny were sitting on the couches talking and he put them down on the coffee table.
Ginny grabbed her glass as Harry sat down before sitting across him so he couldn’t move.
“Come on Gin” he grinned “I need to eat and drink too”
She laughed “Here” he took the glass from her hand and she leaned forward picking up two sandwiches and getting comfy on his lap again.
Hermione and Ron watched them mid bite in there own food as Harry and Ginny ate at exactly the same time, taking turns from drinking from the single glass in seamless motions that looked like they hadn’t even thought about anything they were doing. They hadn’t and when they’d finished and looked at Ron and Hermione staring they stared back.
“What are you two looking at?”Said Harry,
“We haven’t sprouted second heads right?” Ginny said looking up at Harry as he laughed,
“You both just did something really weird” Hermione spoke trying to choose her words carefully “More weird then usual”
Ron it seemed could only gape and point in between them his ears turning red as Ginny and Harry began to laugh even more.
“You were eating at like the exact same time and the way that glass passed between you… it was amazing”
“Amazing – never been called when I eat” Harry said grinning “It’s usually pig”
“Oh well it’s the link thing again”
“Is that was we’re calling it now ‘the link thing’?”
“You got a better idea pig”
“Not really Ginger”
“Oi” she grinned punching his arm playfully.
Ron and Hermione looked at each other then back at them laughing when the middle door opened and a red faced Willow appeared “She’s coming, she’s early but she’s definitely coming” She leant on the door frame clutching her belly.
“Ron, get Madam Pomfrey, Harry send a patronus to Caleb, Ginny help me get her inside the room” Said Hermione delegating tasks. They got up and jumped into life, Ron running out and down the corridor, Harry pulling out his wand and sending the message and Ginny wrapping her arm round Willow to put her back in the bed with Hermione holding her other side.
“I’ll get McGonagall and meet them at the gates, they won’t get in otherwise – Filch” Said Harry as Ginny came back out and nodded before going back inside the room again to Willow’s cry of pain.
Harry dashed out meeting Ron in the hallway not faraway; the nurse was already on her way up to see them when Ron had stopped her. They ran past each other Harry going straight into the great hall. All eyes were on him as he ran to the head’s table. He and Ginny hadn’t been seen for nearly three days, and now he appeared without her looking worried, people’s thoughts became suspicious of the circumstances. They had been told he was ill so was Ginny and that they had to avoid the attention of the trial. He didn’t look sick he was sprinting.
“It’s happening, the baby, Willow” he said breathlessly, McGonagall only just heard.
She stood up quickly and though it seemed impossible because of how old she looked she kept up the run Harry set as they sped out of the great hall and outside to the gates.
Caleb was already there and as Harry had suspected Filch was there and Hagrid was on his was over to see what the fuss was about.
“My fiancée is in there having our baby”
“I need to see some identification” Said Filch slimily, enjoying watching Caleb squirm.
“Open the gates yah miserable old squib” yelled Hagrid “’Ere’s McGonagall and
‘Arry that’s all the proof yah need”
“Mr Filch, let this gentleman in” Said the professor drawing her wand to do it even as Filch went to get the key from his robes. But before he could Hagrid had reached the gates, leaned foreword and ripped the chain clean away “There yah go” He grinned opening them to a now smiling Caleb and watching them run back up to the castle.

Harry sighed “That was an exciting night” he flopped on to the couch, she lay across his lap, her head on the armrest by his hand as it trailed through her hair.
“She is gorgeous though” Ginny grinned “But I think our kids will be better looking”
“If Willow hears you said that she’ll throttle you”
“Your not going to tell her, and there at Mungo’s anyway”
“That is a good point – so you want kids then?”
“Yes” she said slowly “Why don’t you?”
“I never really thought about it, they just seemed to be someone else that can be taken away from me”
“Well with us as parent’s I doubt they’d be let outside the house let alone go to Hogwart’s, face a dark wizard, survive and join the ministry to fight bad guys for the rest of there lives with the chance of dying nearly everyday”
“You make my life sound terrible”
“Up until you started dating me it was” She grinned
“Yes, I fell in love with you and it just got worst!” he grinned back tickling her gently. She fought his grip to distract him with a kiss. It worked and when his brain realised what had happened it was two late, she’d already won. He sighed as they broke apart, “Well not worst” he smiled and she leapt up off his lap slightly to kiss him on the lips again before heading into his bedroom.
He took a second glance realising that she’d gone into his room and not her own and then followed her inside. She had her wand in hand and the door clicked locked behind him. She was standing in front of the bed as she smiled,
“Madam Pomfrey said she wouldn’t be back tonight, McGonagall went to the hospital and said she would let us have tonight and tomorrow to ourselves, I’m sure what you were thinking about earlier on today hasn’t gone from your mind and I can bet you a galleon you can guess what I’m thinking without having to look” she said, placing her wand on the table and all the time walking forward towards him as he stared at her rooted to the spot.
“I don’t have to guess” he grinned “I’m thinking the same” he moved forwards to meet her, lifting her off the ground in a kiss, his arms holding her in the embrace.
