Dru opened the door just enough to look in, she glanced from wall to wall and was thankful that it was deserted. She squeezed through the sliver of space between the door and the frame before shutting it gently behind her.
Now fully in the bathroom, Dru took in the sheer enormity of the place. It was like no bathroom she had ever seen before. She walked around the sinks that were placed in the middle, looking at the room.
"Hello?" she said quietly, hoping that no one would answer. "Hello?" she repeated, slightly louder this time. She waited with baited breath. What felt like an eternity had passed and no one answered.
Dru breathed a sigh of relief and slid down to sit with her back against the wall. She placed either hand by the side of her before quickly lifting her left hand back up. She had placed it in a puddle. Usually she would have been concerned at the upkeep of the bathrooms, but not today. Today she was just happy she was higher than ground level.
