Harry propped himself up against the wall; the rest of his body seemed numb... or maybe he was so deep in thought he had forgotten how to use his muscles. He was by himself. He had been talking with Hermione, but she had gone off somewhere else. He started to think about how his day had started.

He had returned from his week off of Auror training to the Ministry where he was soon bombarded by Ministry officials. They told him what had happened and that Dumbeldore needed to see him. After seeing Dumbledore very briefly, and learning all of the details about Luna's death, he was taken to Grimmauld place. It seemed everyone was there. To make things considerably worse and definitely more interesting, everyone who occupied the house when he arrived, it seemed, would be living there for a undefined amount of time. These people included Elizabeth, Ginny and Guin, who Harry wasn't so sure he would see bonding and sipping tea with each other.

He had also seen the pictures of himself and Ginny and the one with George. This had seemed unimportant, considereing what had happened to Luna, but it put him and the people around him in even more danger than they were already facing.

Harry's eyes had been closed. He opened them, the dim light of the room coming as a shock. His eyes rested upon Ginny. When he found out that the original target was Ginny, instead of Luna, he contemplated many different things that he may have to do to keep her safe. Now that they all would be protected in Grimmauld place, however, he erased some of the more drastic possibilities from his mind.

Harry felt so guilty. The only reason that Luna was dead was him. It seemed that so many times, just Harry's mere existance caused much more pain than he had ever intended, wanted, or even believed possible.

Now he felt like throwing something and he curtly excused himself from the room, running up the stairs to the room where his things had been placed. He jumped onto the bed and lay staring at the ceiling, glad that here, by his privacy, where he could throw whatever he wanted.

Hermione had been on the verge of tears for what seemed like days, though, truthfully, it was only for a few hours after she had heard about Luna. News traveled quickly in the Ministry, and Hermione, after dealing with what her boss asked of her, traveled to number 12, Grimmauld place.

She was quite worried about everyone's well-being, but couldn't help but feel a little giddy when she saw Fred looking at her quite a few times, and before he left, wink. She pushed that out of her mind, however, as she tried to find someone to talk to. She had been talking to Harry, but he seemed to startliving in his own mind and seeing Hermione's words as just a distracting bee floating about, so she decided to leave him to himself.
