"It is a lot of food...I think my eyes are bigger than my stomache." he shrugged though, and poured himself a goblet of pumpkin juice after Rachel did the same. "Yummeh," he murmured quietly, taking a drawn-out drink.
His eyebrows shot up again when she said 'My dear Keltan'. Chuckling, he shook his head. Girls. "Well, I think I've kinda adopted the nickname 'Kel'." he shrugged. Just as long as she didn't call him Kelly, he was fine. "And Rach. Much shorter." he said sarcastically, but smiled again. "Well, Rach it is. Until such time as I think of something else."
"Me too - why don't you take it slow with all this? I know from experience that being ill on the first week of school kind of tends to throw you off to the sidelines and then it can get really hard to catch up," Rachel explained, reliving that frustrating feeling when she could not concentrate on her work because the stupid potion for the pain made her constantly sleepy. Smiling knowingly at Keltan, she made a little finishing sound then dug into her potato viciously, savouring the hot taste on her tongue as she gobbled up almost half of it within thirty seconds only.
"Kel? Ooh I like it! Kel, Kel, Kel," she repeated it a few times in as she took another sip from her drink. As she set her goblet down, the strands she had tucked behind her ears earlier fell back onto her face and she groaned.
Stupid, stupid, stupid hair! "Sorry... Girl trouble," she mumbled as she forcefully pulled her hair behind her ears and willed it to stay there with all her might.
"Kel... I like it!" she finally said after forcing herself to forget about her hair.
