Dominic tried to keep his focus on the empty golden platters in front of him, stomach groaning subtly as he wondered when the speech would begin. To be honest, he probably would not have noticed his hunger had he not been focused on distracting himself from glancing at the Ravenclaw table behind him. Or down his own table at his captain.

Had he been paying more attention, he should have also noticed the blur of pink hair running fast and used his Prefect abilities to tell the kid to slow down.

Pink hair? What!? Why did that seem familiar?

It took a collision into his back, that lurched his muscular frame forward only by shock and the sound of a wheezy familiar voice that made the sixth year turn around and glare at the boy splayed on the floor behind him. Jacob Upstead.

"You should know better than to run in the Hall," Dominic told the now second year, trying to cool his anxiety.
