"That's a little roundabout way of saying it," came a voice from the door of the comparment where the first year Dru and an older student, Irial, were talking.
The owner of that voice was a student not much older than the very Dru, though there was something quite different in their demeanor. Not quite easy going, not quite older-behaving, just... oddly controlled. It was a girl of pale complexion and short blond hair, and a face that still looked like a toddler's.
"Perhaps I'm intruding but," she began again with a gesture of uncertainty, "you wouldn't mind I join you, would you?" The young girl's eye bore into that of the older student. And then she was a bit less formal when she waved to the girl with a smile, the sort of way you do when you identified an equal.
