Oddly enough, though, Katie sounded a bit like Anna did when she once protested all thoughts of she and Cale being a couple. As most everyone well knew, her protests ended up being all for nothing, as she and Cale ended up discovering they were one another soulmate. "I see. A boy...and a friend. So a boyfriend, yet not quite in the manner I meant it," she replied. "You know, Katie, as you get a bit older, you start to see that the boys who pick on you when you are younger end up being the boys who have crushes on you as you get older. I'd keep an eye on this Legend fellow if I were you." Ahhh, to be a first year. "One day, you're going to appreciate all these boys hanging out with you..."

Katie nodded excitedly, understanding exactily what Anna meant. Or so she believed. "Like when you want to try something for the first time but it's scary too, like riding a bike without training wheels or going on a roller coaster!" To be in the mind of an eleven year old, what joy.

Kaitlynnh Gelilah Cantara Kayleigh Mae never ever ever ever EVER wanted to hear the words 'Legend' and 'Boyfriend' in the same sentance ever again, especially being uttered in a conversation to her, no matter HOW it was meant. That was absolutely revolting, Legend.. and NO. In his dreams. No, Legend and Mat and Cy and Will were all boys that happened to be her friends, there for 'boys that are her friends'. Not boyfriends. Jae and Danny too, except they're her cousins as well. "I don't think so. There's three of them, and all the boys and girls at my old school our age do that; it's like a game." Katie explained, her childish mind making her believe that maybe Anna had forgotten what it was like to be an eleven year old. The boys picked on her, yes, but she didn't let them go that easily. It was a routine of theirs, a game, part of being little. "I can't escape Legend even if I wanted to. Our families are close friends, we get thrown together alot." She added, her nose wrinkling once again. She was never going shopping with him again, no matter what anyone had to say about it.

She would appreciate the boys being around, one day? "Why do you say that?" Katie asked shyly, shifting to place her head on her folded hands. It was unfortunate Anna would only be around for this term, and gone the next.
