Ater smiled softly, as he looked at Cassie and noticed she had been staring at him, for some reason it made him happy to know that. He noticed she still had some food on her plate, but decided that if she was still hungry, she wouldn’t say she was done.
His eyes sparkled as she smiled thankfully at him, and got up, to move to the Hufflepuff table. He moved with her, placing his hand on her back to steady and guide her through the throng of students getting up and moving from one place to another. They reached Aggie and Maddie and he bowed slightly at the girls, though keeping his hand on Cassie’s back, until he realized what he was doing, and softly removed it.
“Have you finished your meal?” he inquired with a smile at his friends, and surveyed the Hall, noticing there were only half the people it contained in the beginning of dinner. “Maybe you ladies could show us a bit of the Castle before we have to retire?” he asked Aggie and Cassie though unconsciously he was more talking to the Ravenclaw, as it was to her he was looking.
Aggie looked up as Ater and Cassie approached and smiled at Ater’s hand on her back. “Yup, I’m done. You Maddie?” she asked, taking the final bite out of her cake, and cleaning her lips. She then placed the silverware parallel on top of the plate as well as the napkin.
“You already saw the outside, in a general way, we could show them the way to classes and then the towers and library no? Oh, and maybe pass by the dungeons first t show Ater, were the Slytherin common room is.” She said with a smile, as she got up. It wouldn’t be necessary to show Maddie the huffy room, as they were both there.
