Oh no... there he was. There was an instictive need to look in a mirror, but at the same time... a fear of being seen. He was just so... charming. Ugh! She blushed something fearful.
Forrester nodded, and, once she put her face into her hands turned back to the other ladies near him.

"Muggle robes usually have ties around the front."

Mere raised an eyebrow as he conversed with Less. Seems like something other then just niffler riding and whomping willow dueling happened.

"Me? Oh um, I'm hoping to do a spot of traveling....maybe visit an old friend or two..." she shrugged. "America is such a cool place though, I mean, I've only been to New York and LA but Vegas!" She almost clapped her hands. "Such an exciting hometown you have."

Well this feast was perking up a bit, since at least Ili was sweet. "Thank you for understanding." She let out a little sigh of relief and raised an eyebrow. "Mmmm well....I'll think about it....maybe if you teach something tamer than dragons." Heheheh yeah. Like flobberworms.

Anastasia turned her head at the sight of Forrester and almost started giggling. Hehehee the man with the fedora and the niffler-wrestling skills.

She caught herself, however, and sat up in her seat as Meredith explained skirts and dresses to him. Clearly, he was a man, not a boy. And than Merlin she hadn't seen that ridiculous niffler/gardener around. Ughhh she was not looking forward to speaking to him. Ever.

"Yes, what she said," Annie added to the skirt explanation, waving a hand about absentmindedly. "They're not as ah, hardy as regular denim jeans," she added cheerfully. "Most skirts have a soft wash, maybe a cute frayed hem.... stuff like that...."

Oh he wasn't really interested in a full explanation and she really didn't have the heart to give one. Besides, shoes were Annie's specialty, along with high-end fashion. She didn't really like denim skirts, even if they were TOTALLY American and Americans were cool.
He listened with rapt attention as both girls described the difference between skirts, dresses, and robes....well, muggle robes anyway.

He nodded. Okay, they weren't kilts, but they were like a girl-version of the very manly kilts that girls seemed to like.

"Why didn't you bring any with you, Merry? Annie, do you prefer the jeans?" He knew jeans! He wore some before. They're nice when he goes on long walks in Blackpool. Or in Scotland visiting his grandparents.

Headmaster Bontecou entered the great hall without a modicum of decorum as he arrived hours late and at a full out sprint through the doors and up to the head table. He vaulted the table and landed in a crouch on his chair. Very suave and headmaster-like. Yeah right.

He stayed there for a moment, collecting his breath, before finally easing off the chair to stand in front of it, the legs making an awful noise as they scraped on the stone floor when he pushed it back to make room for him to stand. Pepe leaned over to grab a goblet of water, the ice having long ago melted, and his glasses slid right off his sweaty face and clattered onto his plate. He didn't even have the courtesy to look abashed. He just mopped his face with his napkin, actually cleaned his glasses for once (merely managing to smear the grease around), and placed them back on his face.

"Well, it's great to see you all made it to the closing feast," he laughed and smiled and waved at the students and then the staff. "It's been an exciting year, but of course what would Hogwarts be without a bit of adventure, eh?"

Yup, he was having far too much fun. "It gives me no small amount of pleasure to award both the quidditch and house cups to RAVENCLAW!" he said and punched the air. He may be fair in his awarding of points and lack of bias during the term, but there was no way he could refrain from a bit of a cheer for his former house when he was able to announce such a victory. "And a hearty congratulations is also in order for the Slytherin gobstones team which managed to prevent Ravenclaw from managing a sweeping victory this term," he smiled and clapped for the snakes.

"Well, I know I've kept you all waiting enough as it is, so that's all for speeches. I look forward to seeing those of you in first through sixth years again next year and bid the seventh years a very fond farewell. Good luck in all your endeavors and may you never lose your sense of direction," he winked and then sank into his chair, completely winded after his running entrance and the speech that followed.

Well, at least his Slytherins had accomplished SOMETHING this term.
