Turning back to Elizabeth - or whatever her name was - she nodded as she replied to her questions.
"Good point. I think I'll go with the latter," Rachel replied, grinning back at her. She took a tiny sip of pumpkin juice and smiled, relieved that Elizabeth was in fact the girl's name. Cocking her head slightly to the the right, she set her cup down and listened as Elizabeth explained to Barry why she had chosen to let go of the position.
Those are good points, she thought to herself, mulling them over in her head.

Swivelling her head to her right, she smiled and nodded to show that she understood his point.
"Right, I get you. I guess I know where you're coming from," she responded, although still a little puzzled. Even if he had chosen to ignore it, she had still worn her badge all the time so the chances of him forgetting it was on her were pretty slim.

She had her camera in her hands, making sure to take a picture of anything remotely interesting, and some uninteresting things. Like the house banners, the staff table...everything.
She sighed as she sat down, not seeing any of her friends. But then she heard a familiar voice, and she leaned back, grinning as she saw Rachel. She stood up quickly, and hurried over to her friend. "Guess who," she said in a high, squeaky voice, holding back laughter as she covered the prefect's eyes with her hands.

"Ahh!" she gasped as suddenly the world went dark. Without thinking, she pulled out her wand and was about to cast something when she heard a high pitched squeak saying 'Guess Who'. Immediately relaxing, she put her wand away and mentally went through a list of likely people. She was just about to guess that it was Livvy when she heard another voice right above her - and from what the girl was saying, it sounded like her attacker had also been attacked!
Grinning as the girl tried to persuade her to not dock points, she realised who it was. If Jenn is the one blocking my attacker's eyes, then it's obvious who the blocker is!
"Rian! Take your blasted hands off my eyes!" she exclaimed, her lips pulled back into a wide, amused smile as she waited for the hands to be lifted.
