"Hey," he waved. "Elizabeth, right? And. . . Weasley." Of course that wasn't his first name. But it was all that really needed to be known. "Geez, where is everyone? OWLs and NEWTs and finals ended ages ago. Maybe they're all dead." He leaned in close to inspect the Ravenclaw girl's uniform. Weasley was right, it was gone.
"Did you drop it?," Tino asked, and without waiting for a response, got down on his hands and knees and started looking underneath the table. Barry looked up as another boy came over and weasley? please, everyone was weasley these days, he had a proper name, a name of iduviduality "Its Barry" he corrected.
Before he commented about the empty table the unknown boy went under the table looking for Elizabeths badge "Err.." what was his name? He had no idea. "mr... I don`t think its there" and he looked up as others approached Quote:

I thought I was late, when in actual fact, I'm absurdly early. Great, she thought dryly to herself as she looked around the Hall, eyes flicking to the doors every so often to see if people she knew had arrived.
Spotting no one, she turned to the table and grinned at Barry. "Hey Barry, haven't seen you lately. How are you?" she asked as she poured herself some pumpkin juice. She took a big gulp of the drink and as she laid down the cup, spotted someone down on the floor. "Erm, what are you doing?" she asked the boy, puzzled by his weird behavior. Maybe there's something under the table? Leaning back, she lifted the tablecloth to peek under the table, but saw nothing. Strange person... Barry looked up again from the strange boy to Rachel who Barry remembered, not well but he knew her, they had met earlier this year yes? Barry gave her a small smile and then said "I`m good, but its been an event full year hasn`t it? With the ghosts and the extra work and the teachers" there done and done.
And now back to the boy, he looked to rachel and then he saw it, the prefect badge! He called to the boy "I found it!" and then looking to Rachel "He`s looking for your badge" with a smile Quote:

Either way, the important thing was that she was not late, and that the Ravanclaw table -and the rest of the tables as well- were sort of empty - there were very few people there. How odd; the great hall usually filled very quickly for the end of term feast, and the only reason Willow could think of why it was different this term was that perhaps people was not looking forward for the summer holidays. Which was even more strange, really.
Granted, Willow liked Hogwarts - she really did. But right now, after having dealt with her OWLs and rest of the exams, the only thing she wanted was to go home and enjoy her holidays.
Clearly not everyone thought the same thing.
Flicking one strand of lose dark hair to the back with one of her hands, Willow wandered down the hall until she reached the Ravenclaw table, Melly walking right beside her. "Don't you think it's bit odd that it is so empty?" Whispered the brunette to the shorter and younger red-headed girl. It certainly was for her. Shrugging this off, Willow claimed a seat near Elizabeth, who seemed to be talking to Constantino -who for some reason was on the floor, apparently looking for something-, and some other boy that she didn't know. "Hello," she said politely, with an equally polite nod of her head. Allowing herself to look around the table, she spotted Rachel, one of the two prefects. "Hi, Rachel," said Willow, an amicable smile on her lips; she had not forgotten the letter than Rachel had sent her a letter right after the championship game.
Once she was settled, and had greeted the people she knew, Willow's forest green eyes started to scan the rest of the great hall, very slowly, which meant that she was trying to be casual about it; first the professors' table, which was empty except for Professor Lupa, then the Gryffindor table, Slytherin, and finally, Hufflepuff.
Nope, he wasn't there yet. "I'm hungry," she mused, to no one in particular. Out of habit, Willow started to play distractedly with one lock of dark hair. Barry gave the arriving girl a little nod "Hello" then as she said she was hungry he withdrew a bar of honeydukes chocolate "Want it? I always keep a spare in case Cela wants one" he said. He noted the the girl was a quiditch captin. That only left Cale now. Quote:
Elizabeth glanced over as someone approached her, and recognized Barry, from last term and the whole weird treasure hunt thing. And apparently he remembered her from there too, given the opening question he had asked her. "Hey Barry," she said with a little smile, amused at how observant the younger boy had been this entire term. But before she could point out that she hadn't been prefect this term, another boy came over and greeted them. Letting out an involuntary laugh as he looked at her robes before geting down on his hands and knees to look under the table for her missing badge that wasn't actually missing, she finally spoke. "Hi, Tino, right?," she asked the boy under the table, before glancing at Barry again. "I wasn't prefect this term. I gave it up."
Then William had come over, and asked if she could pass the pumpkin juice over to him. She handed the pitcher to him carefully, still quite amused by Tino's search for a nonexistent badge, and seconds later, the actual prefect came up to them, followed by Willow. She smiled over at the two girls before struggling not to laugh as Tino's reason for being under the table was questioned. "Hey Willow, and, um, Rachel?," she said at first, mentally kicking herself for never really having talked to the girl who had replaced her as prefect before, and then looking at the younger girl once more. "Barry, for some reason, wasn't aware that you had replaced me as prefect, and had asked where my badge was. And then Tino came, and decided to make sure it hadn't fallen off under the table," she explained. The feast had barely started, and it was already getting interesting
Barry gave a confused look to Elizabeth "You gave it up? Why so? It sounds like a wonderful position" he said
